 between Japan and the United States. From the thunder of taiko drums to th
 e elegance of swordsmanship and the colorful fun of pop culture\, the fest
 ival brings centuries of tradition and innovation to life in honor of the 
 Sister City relationship between Newport and Shimoda. Come for the day or 
 stay for the weekend. We will hold a memorial ceremony on Sunday morning a
 t Commodore Perry's Grave. Also\, the Seafood Festival in in Newport both
