November 16-20, 2026 Tour starts in Kyoto and ends in Tokyo This professional-focused tour, jointly presented by NAJGA and JFGM, is designed for garden professionals, curators, and educators seeking an immersive and dynamic experience. Participants should expect extensive walking and regular travel by public transportation. Based primarily in Tokyo and Kyoto, the tour prioritizes visiting a wide range of gardens with some opportunities to engage with Japanese garden professionals and practitioners. The experience also provides time to connect with fellow professionals from across North America while gaining on-the-ground exposure to Japan’s garden landscapes. Cost $2800/members.
