A Night in Tokyo: A Special Koga Event

The Japan America Society of Chicago presents its First Annual Koga Event – A Night in Tokyo Featuring a musical performance by the world-renowned East Winds Ensemble September 1 | Honoring the generous gift from Mary and Albert Koga in support of JASC's cultural programming As part of East Winds, Inc., a New York City-based world-renowned organization, East Winds Ensemble is dedicated to sharing the beauty and advancing the understanding of traditional Japanese music and performing arts. With distinguished programs including taiko drums, shakuhachi, and fue, East Winds Ensemble presents theatre performances, community concerts, and educational programs throughout the country and around the world, fostering cultural exchange while providing a platform for artists and preserving the rich traditions of Japanese/Asian music, and performance.
