Japan America Society of Greater Philadelphia will once again host a Japanese Fall Harvest Festival in Ardmore, PA. Aki Matsuri festivals are centered around giving thanks for the harvest and wishing for good fortune for the future.
There will be activities for all ages at the festival
- Taiko drumming by Casual Fifth and KyoDaiko
- Traditional music and dancing by the Seabrook Minyo Dance Group
- Origami, mini Chochin lantern, and Uchiwa Fan “Make-and-Take”
- Japanese crafts, games, such as YoYo Tsuri (YoYo Balloon Fishing) & game prizes!
- Cosplay Fashion Show
- Karaoke
- Japanese food trucks & vendors
