Japan America Society of Michigan and SW Ontario

Japan America Society of Michigan and Southwestern Ontario is a nonprofit, nonpolitical organization with a membership of individuals and corporations and a roster of programs to strengthen friendly relations between Americans, Canadians, and Japanese nationals.

The Society is dedicated to strengthening the ties of friendship between the Japanese people and the citizens of the Greater Detroit and Windsor area and to assist in developing a common understanding of economic, political, and cultural diversity.

Business, cultural and community programs are carried out through events that provide opportunities for friendship and familiarity as the basis of productive collaboration.

Operating for over 35 years in the Detroit area, the Society seeks collaborations with corporations, institutions, and governments to offer programming that fosters Japan-US relations.
